Hidirlik Kulesi is a squat, round Roman tower of honey-coloured stone standing where the old town meets the cliff, probably built in the 2nd century as a lighthouse or a tomb. It marks the corner between Kaleici and the leafy Karaalioglu Park, and the terrace beside it is one of Antalya's favourite sunset viewpoints, looking west across the bay to the mountains. Entry is free and it pairs naturally with a park stroll.
Getting there from the port
Walk to the south-west edge of Kaleici by Karaalioglu Park.
