Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 April 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website, any mobile applications, and any white-label deployments of cruise-port.com (together, the "Services"). Please read them carefully.

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Acceptance of these Terms

By using any part of the Services β€” including the website at cruise-port.com, a mobile app we publish, or a white-label version run by a partner β€” you agree to be bound by these Terms and by any additional terms that apply to specific features.

The Services

cruise-port.com provides independent cruise-port information and travel guidance, including destination guides, practical transport information, interactive maps, and related features. The Services are delivered in three ways:

  • Website β€” the cruise-port.com website and any associated domains.
  • Mobile applications β€” any native apps we publish on app stores.
  • White-label deployments β€” versions of our platform licensed to partners who operate them under their own brand, powered by our data.

We may add, modify or remove features at any time.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services without a parent or guardian's supervision. By using the Services, you confirm that you can form a binding contract under the laws of your country of residence.

Accounts and user content

Some features may require you to submit information such as your name, email address, or feedback about a port. You are responsible for keeping any account credentials confidential and for the accuracy of the information you submit.

By submitting content (for example, port feedback or photos), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display and adapt that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Services β€” including across our website, mobile apps, and white-label deployments.

Acceptable use

When using the Services, you agree not to:

  • Use them for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent or deceptive purpose.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or probe the Services for vulnerabilities.
  • Scrape or harvest content at scale without our written permission.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Submit content that is defamatory, offensive, or infringes someone else's rights.
  • Interfere with other users' experience of the Services.

We may suspend or remove access if you breach these rules.

Intellectual property

All intellectual-property rights in the Services β€” including content, software, design, logos and branding β€” belong to cruise-port.com or our licensors. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access the Services for your own non-commercial use. All other rights are reserved.

Accuracy and reliance on information

We work hard to keep our cruise-port information accurate and up to date, drawing on specialists, tourist boards and community feedback. Even so, we cannot guarantee that all information on the Services is complete, current or error-free.

Port facilities, transport options, opening hours, prices, safety conditions and local rules change without notice. You are responsible for verifying critical information β€” especially anything affecting your ship's all-aboard time, local regulations, or personal safety β€” with authoritative sources before you rely on it.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, cruise-port.com is not liable for any loss, damage, missed embarkation, expense or inconvenience resulting from any inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or misinterpreted information provided through the Services. This includes content contributed by community members and third parties.

Third-party services and links

The Services may link to or integrate with services operated by third parties (for example, map providers, analytics tools, and external websites). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

White-label and partner deployments

We license versions of our platform to partners who run them under their own brand. If you are using a white-label deployment:

  • You continue to be bound by these Terms, in addition to any terms the partner imposes.
  • The partner is responsible for their brand, customer support, and any additional content or features they add.
  • cruise-port.com remains responsible for the underlying platform and content supplied by us.
  • In case of conflict, the partner's terms apply to partner-specific features; these Terms apply to the core platform and content.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • cruise-port.com is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data or goodwill.
  • Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the Services will not exceed €100 (or the applicable local-currency equivalent).

Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold cruise-port.com (and its partners, licensors and service providers) harmless from any claim, loss, damage or expense β€” including reasonable legal fees β€” arising out of your misuse of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue a feature. You may stop using the Services at any time.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination β€” including accuracy disclaimers, intellectual-property rights, limitations of liability, and indemnification β€” will continue to apply.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you through the Services. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the European Union, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Services will be resolved in the courts competent under EU consumer-protection rules or in the courts of your country of residence, to the extent required by those rules.
