  • Port essentials for 500+ cruise ports: where your ship docks, how far it is to town and the best way to get there.
  • The Ports map — see at a glance where your cruise is going and tap any port.
  • Favourites and visited ports, shared with your cruise-port.com account.
  • Typical weather for your month, local contacts and the ship’s excursions compared with doing the same day yourself.

Plan My Port Days

One purchase per cruise, made inside the app. Pick your ship and sailing, answer four quick questions about how you like to travel, and we write a personal plan for every port on your itinerary — timed from gangway to all-aboard.

  1. 1Open My plans and tap Plan my port days.
  2. 2Choose your cruise line, ship, departure month and sailing. You see every port of the cruise before you pay.
  3. 3Pay with your Apple or Google account. The price depends on the length of the cruise and is shown before you confirm.
  4. 4Answer four questions. Your plan is ready in a few minutes — we send a notification — and stays in My plans.

Your plan unlocks the full port pages of your itinerary, the ready-made port days, offline maps, live location and PDFs for every port.

How to use the app

Find a port

Use the search on the Ports tab or tap a pin on the map. Ports are grouped by region, with the ones you have saved at the top.

Read a port page

Each page runs from the top down in the order you need it: docks and terminals, the recommended way to town, things to do by interest, ready-made port days, weather and contacts. The disclaimer at the bottom matters: always check all-aboard time with your ship.

Save a port offline

On a port you own, tap Save map offline. The map and port information are stored on your phone (5–25 MB per port, Wi-Fi is best). From a plan you can download every port at once. Saved ports work without signal; everything else shows an offline notice until you are back online.

Live location

On any map, tap My location. The first time, your phone asks for permission; the app only uses your position on the phone, to show where you are — it is never sent to us.

Save as PDF

Port pages and plans you own have a Save as PDF button. Print the PDF or keep it in your files for a day without a phone signal.

My plans

Everything you own lives here: your port day plans, Expert Collections and the ports you have downloaded. Pull down to refresh after a purchase on the website.

Questions, answered

Do I need an account?

No — browsing ports is free without one. You need an account to buy a plan or to see purchases made on cruise-port.com, so that your plan is saved to you and not to a phone. Sign in with Apple, Google or an e-mail address.

What does Plan My Port Days cost?

The price depends on the length of your cruise and is shown in the app, in your local currency, before you confirm. Payment is handled by Apple or Google; one purchase covers every port of that cruise.

How long does the plan take?

Usually two to five minutes after the four questions. You get a notification when it is ready, and the plan is also available on cruise-port.com under My plans.

Does the app work without internet?

Ports you have saved offline open fully, including the map. Your plans are stored on the phone too. Pages you have not saved need a connection. A good habit: download your ports on the ship’s Wi-Fi the evening before.

Can I use the app on an iPad or tablet?

Yes, in the phone layout. The app is designed for the phone in your hand on the quay.

I changed phones — where are my purchases?

Sign in with the same account and everything is there. If a store purchase is missing, open Profile and tap Restore purchases.

How long do I keep access?

Your plan stays yours. Full access to the itinerary’s port pages lasts until 14 days after your cruise ends; an Expert Collection gives one year of access to all ports of its region.

Can I get a refund?

App purchases are refunded by Apple or Google under their rules — request it from your App Store or Google Play purchase history. Purchases made on cruise-port.com fall under our refund policy.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Profile → Danger zone → Delete account. This deletes your account and data on our side; purchases cannot be restored afterwards.

Something is wrong on a port page.

Ports change — a terminal closes, a shuttle moves. Use the feedback at the bottom of a day plan, or the contact form, and we check it.
