Built 1930 by Paul Tournon as the French colonial cathedral, deconsecrated in 1956 after Moroccan independence. The white concrete neo-Gothic-meets-Art-Deco silhouette is dramatic from any angle, and the bell tower can be climbed for a city view. The building now functions as an exhibition space.
Getting there from the port
Walk south along Boulevard Rachidi from Place Mohammed V; the cathedral is 5 minutes further on.
