The Museo Antropológico Padre Sebastián Englert is the island's main museum, housing a comprehensive collection of archaeological artefacts including original moai eyes, carved wooden figures, stone tools, and displays on Polynesian navigation. Named after the German-Chilean priest and scholar who spent decades documenting Rapa Nui culture, the museum is compact and can be covered in 45–60 minutes. An English-language brochure is available at the entrance.
