From the cruise terminal to the city centre
Most cruise lines run a paid shuttle from Botafoc to the marina/Vara de Rey area.
📍 Pickup outside the terminal at Es Botafoc; drop-off near the old marina.
The flat 1.5 km walkway from Botafoc to the old marina is exposed but easy; add 5-10 minutes to climb Dalt Vila.
📍 Follow the breakwater walkway west from the terminal toward the marina.
Metered taxis. Fixed-price tariffs to set destinations are posted at the rank; agree before longer trips.
📍 Taxi rank outside the terminal exit at Es Botafoc.
City line L10 covers Botafoc-Vara de Rey; island lines L3 (Sant Antoni), L11 (Ses Salines beach) and L29 (Cala d'Hort/Es Vedrà) depart from the bus station.
📍 Closest urban bus stop is at Marina Botafoch (8-minute walk); island lines depart from Avinguda d'Isidoro Macabich.
Useful for Es Vedrà and remote north-coast beaches; parking in Dalt Vila is restricted and street parking in the old town is scarce.
📍 Rental desks at the marina and the airport (15 minutes by taxi). No major rental desk inside the cruise terminal.
