Bait Al Zubair is a private foundation museum opened in 1998 in a courtyard residence in Old Muscat. Five galleries cover Omani arms (the country's best khanjar collection), traditional dress, daily life and a model of an Omani village. Air-conditioned, English-friendly and the single best primer on Omani heritage in the city.
