Most ships dock at Riga Passenger Terminal on the Daugava, a flat 800m/10-min walk along the embankment to the southern edge of Old Town — no transit needed. Old Town is fully pedestrianised; the Art Nouveau quarter on Alberta and Elizabetes iela is a further 15-min walk north through Bastion Hill park. St. Peter's tower lift is €12, Riga Art Nouveau Museum is €5; everything else is free street architecture.

From the cruise terminal walk 15 min to a bus stop on K. Valdemara iela or 11. Novembra krastmala, then take Rīgas Satiksme bus #1 (direction Suži) about 45 min to the 'Brīvdabas muzejs' stop. Pay with the Mobilly app or buy a Narvesen-kiosk e-ticket before boarding — drivers do not sell tickets and do not take cards. Museum entry is €4 (May–Sept), the on-site Sklandrausis tavern serves traditional Latvian lunch.
