Haffa Souq is the country's most famous frankincense market — Dhofari women in colourful headscarves selling green and white frankincense resin from family farms in the mountains, alongside bukhoor (incense blends), oud, gold and traditional perfumes. Smells extraordinary. Late-afternoon reopening (16:00) is the best time.
