Wadi Darbat carries water year-round on the Dhofar plateau — turquoise pools, palm and dragon-blood trees and a 100 m waterfall during the June-September khareef monsoon. The visitor centre at the road junction has parking, toilets and a few cafés; from there a 1.5 km trail leads to the waterfall viewing platform.
