Port summary
Singapore docks at one of two cruise terminals: Marina Bay Cruise Centre (MBCCS) for big ships east of the bay, or HarbourFront for older/smaller ships next to VivoCity. Both have direct MRT connections to the city in 15–25 minutes. English is universal, payment by contactless card or Grab works everywhere, and 6–8 hour calls give time for one big-bay loop plus one neighbourhood.

🚢 Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore (MBCCS)
The main berth for large cruise ships east of Marina Bay. Built on reclaimed land off Marina South. Marina South Pier MRT is a 5 minute walk; the city is 4–5 km north.

See dock on port map →🚢 Singapore Cruise Centre — HarbourFront

From the cruise terminal to the city centre
Tap a contactless card at the gate — no ticket needed. North-South line connects both cruise terminals to the city.
📍 Marina South Pier MRT (from MBCCS) or HarbourFront MRT (from HarbourFront terminal)
Metered taxis are honest and take cards; surcharges apply at peak hours and after midnight.
📍 Taxi rank right outside both terminal exits
Cruise line shuttle is convenient but slower than MRT; only useful if MBCCS is the call and you want a guaranteed drop point.
📍 Cruise line shuttle desk on the gangway or in the terminal hall
Only works at HarbourFront — VivoCity mall and the MRT are step-free across the bridge. MBCCS is too isolated to walk from.
📍 Step out of HarbourFront terminal into VivoCity mall via the air-bridge
