The marine terminal is centrally located and most of Toba's headline attractions — Mikimoto Pearl Island and Toba Aquarium — are within a 10-minute walk. For a longer day, Kintetsu and JR trains from Toba Station (5 min walk) reach Futami's Wedded Rocks in 10 minutes and Ise Grand Shrine in 25 minutes. Cash is important here — many local shops and restaurants don't accept cards.

From Toba Marine Terminal walk 10 min to Mikimoto Pearl Island (¥1,650 entry, ama diver shows hourly), then 7 min to Toba Station for a Kintetsu train to Iseshi (15 min, ¥390). From Iseshi take CAN bus 51/55 to Naiku-mae (15 min, ¥520). Return the same route. Total transit ~35 min each way. Trains run every 15–20 min; buses every 10–15 min in daytime.

From Toba Station take the Kintetsu train to Iseshi (15 min, ¥390). Geku is a 5-min walk from the station. After Geku, take CAN bus 51 from Geku-mae to Naiku-mae (20 min, ¥440). After Naiku, walk the adjoining Okage Yokocho and Oharaimachi streets for food and souvenirs, then bus back to Iseshi and train to Toba.
