Acapulco's Terminal Marítima is one of the rare Mexican cruise berths that lands you right in the historic centre: the zócalo, the cathedral and the Fuerte de San Diego are all a 5-10 minute walk from the gangway, and the glass-bottom boats to Isla de la Roqueta leave from Caleta a short taxi ride west. The Costera Miguel Alemán curves around the bay to the Zona Dorada beaches (Condesa, Icacos), and the cliff divers of La Quebrada are about 1.5 km uphill from the terminal. Note that the state of Guerrero carries a high-level government travel advisory and several cruise lines have reduced or paused calls here.
