From the cruise terminal to the city centre
Metered Lanzarote taxis. €10-15 to Arrecife centre or €40-50 to Timanfaya one-way. All accept cards if asked first.
📍 Taxi rank outside the cruise terminal exit
Most cruise lines run a paid shuttle to Arrecife centre (Charco de San Ginés). Convenient and the cheapest hands-off option for downtown only.
📍 Cruise-line shuttle desk inside the terminal
Cheap city bus to Arrecife and onward to Costa Teguise. There's no stop inside the port — you must walk to the gate first. Skip if mobility is limited.
📍 Línea 1 / Línea 22 stop on Avenida de los Mármoles outside the port gate
Best option for Timanfaya + the Manrique sites in one day. Airport pickup is faster than expected. Avoid for Arrecife-only days.
📍 Rental desks at the cruise terminal and 5 minutes' drive at Arrecife airport (ACE)
Walking from the port to Arrecife takes about 40 minutes through an industrial zone with limited shade. Take the shuttle or a taxi.
