Orla Bardot and the Brigitte Bardot Statue

The Orla Bardot is the seafront path that runs north from the tender pier along Praia da Armação towards Ossos, past moored fishing boats, restaurant terraces and small art galleries. Halfway along sits the bronze statue of Brigitte Bardot, sitting on a suitcase and looking out to sea, a nod to her 1964 stay that turned a quiet fishing village into Brazil's chic beach town. It is the easiest walk in Búzios and a good first stop off the tender. Carry on for another ten minutes and you reach Praia dos Ossos and the Igreja de Sant'Anna; along the way are the Três Pescadores statue of local fishermen and plenty of spots for a cold coconut.
