From the tender landing, London village is a 5-minute walk along the unpaved main road — no transport needed for the village portion. The coastal viewpoints and London Beach are within 15–20 minutes' walk. There are no entry fees anywhere. Bring water and sun protection from the ship; there are almost no shops.

Independent lagoon snorkeling is not practical — the best sites are several kilometres from London village across open lagoon water, and there is no walk-up boat hire or rental snorkel gear on the island. The only option is to pre-arrange a local boat operator through the ship's excursion desk or via the Captain Cook Hotel. Bring your own snorkel gear from the ship as rental is unavailable.
