Ships dock at the pier so you simply walk ashore; most beaches and pools are a short, flat walk away.

No transit is involved — ships dock at the CocoCay pier and you walk off (no tender). The DIY counterpart skips the paid waterpark and uses the island's free water attractions instead: Splashaway Bay (kids/family aqua park with slides), Captain Jill's Galleon splash playground, and Oasis Lagoon (the largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean, with swim-up islands and a swim-up bar). All are a 5–15 minute walk or free island tram from the pier, with complimentary loungers, umbrellas and towels. The only spend is optional drinks/snacks — included food is free at Snack Shack and Chill Grill, but soda and alcohol cost extra unless you hold a ship beverage package.
