The cruise terminal is ~2 km from the centre; city bus #15 runs from outside the terminal to San Rocco Square (€1.70 single, ~2/hour). For the palace, walk 1 min to Psychiatriou/San Rocco and take blue suburban bus #10 to the Achilleion stop at the gate (~30 min, ~€1.70). Palace admission is €7 walk-up — note that as of 2025 the interior is under restoration and only the gardens/grounds are open. The Old Town Esplanade is a 10-min walk from San Rocco; the Old Fortress is €3 extra.

City bus #15 from outside the terminal reaches San Rocco Square in ~15 min (€1.70), then it's a 10-min walk to the Esplanade. The entire Old Town is walkable from there — St. Spyridon and the Campiello lanes are free, the Old Fortress is €6 and the New Fortress €6 (often reduced). On the way back, catch #15 at the 'Ika' stop near the New Fortress rather than backtracking to San Rocco.
