Route 354 runs to Waterford Plunkett Station roughly hourly in summer for ~€4 single (~€4 each way, payable in cash or by Leap Card). House of Waterford Crystal is a 10-minute walk along the Quay from Plunkett Station, and Reginald's Tower + the Viking Triangle museums sit on the same Quay another 10 minutes east — the entire DIY day stays inside a 600-metre riverfront strip.

From Dunmore East tender quay, take Bus Éireann 354 to Waterford Plunkett Station (40 min, €4), then transfer to the Bus Éireann Route 4 Expressway service (Waterford–Kilkenny–Dublin) to Kilkenny MacDonagh Junction (55 min, €11).
