From America Terminal walk 20 minutes south along the waterfront to Haga — flat and signposted. After Haga, walk 15 minutes northeast to the Paddan departure at Kungsportsplatsen (SEK 269/€24 adult, bookable online via Stromma). All stops are within 2 km of each other; no public transport needed.

From America Terminal take tram line 6 to Brunnsparken (5 min), then bus 302 direct to Marstrand ferry terminal (~55 min). The short ferry to the island runs every 15 min and is included in a Västtrafik ticket (SEK 38 single zone A). Carlsten Fortress entry is SEK 120/€10 adult. The island is small and entirely walkable.
