Gustavia Harbour Waterfront Walk

Gustavia is built around a narrow inlet, and the walk right round it is the easiest orientation you will get. From the tender dock the quay runs past the capitainerie and the tourist office, along a line of superyachts moored stern-to with their passerelles down, then round the head of the harbour past the old red-roofed warehouses that now hold boutiques. The far side at La Pointe is quieter, with the museum and views back across the water to the town. It is flat, paved and takes under an hour at a browsing pace, which makes it the natural first hour ashore.
