Everything on the cruise-line tour is walkable: Polar Bear Society (free entry, optional NOK 349 membership pin), parish church (free, ~5 min from pier), Meridian Column at Fuglenes (~20 min walk west along the harbour from the cruise pier), and the Salen zigzag path which leaves from behind the town centre and takes 15–20 min to the summit.
