Ships dock at Macquarie Wharf, a 10-minute walk from Brooke Street Pier where the kunanyi/Mt Wellington Explorer Bus departs (opposite the Tasmanian Travel & Information Centre). The official shuttle is the only way up without a car: A$50 / ~€30 adult for the 2.5-hour return tour with 30 minutes at the summit, departing 9.30am, 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm. You can also hop off at five Wellington Park stops for short alpine walks and catch a later bus down.
