Morning; there is little shade among the ruins
The Antonine Baths were among the largest Roman thermal complexes anywhere, set right on the Carthage shoreline. Only the towering substructures survive, but their scale - and the gardens and Punic-Roman ruins around them - make this the centrepiece of the UNESCO archaeological park.
