At Erimi, on the road toward Kourion, the Cyprus Wine Museum tells the story of an island that has been making wine for more than five thousand years, in an old stone house on the ancient wine road. Displays of amphorae, presses, tools and documents trace the trade down to the famous Commandaria, and a visit usually ends with a tasting of local wines. Indoor and cool, it is an easy, grown-up stop to fold into a western sites tour.
