The terminal is inside a secured commercial port with no walk-out, so take the cruise-day shuttle (about €8–10 one way) or a metered taxi (€12–20, ~15 min) to the castle and old town. Everything of interest — castle, covered market, marina and the Molos promenade — is then flat and walkable within a few minutes. Castle/Cyprus Medieval Museum entry is about €4.50; nothing needs booking.

The sites are 15–20 km west with no useful public transport, so arrange a metered taxi or a private driver for a half-day (about €35–50 each way, or roughly €90–120 to keep a driver for the loop). Kourion, the Apollo sanctuary and Kolossi are all within a few km of each other. Entry is about €4.50 for Kourion, €2.50 each for Apollo and Kolossi. Bring water, a hat and good shoes — Kourion has almost no shade.
