The cruise terminal sits ~7 km north of the Old Port — too far to walk. The dedicated 35T cruise-day bus runs every 15–20 min from Gate 4 to Place de la Joliette for €2 each way (contactless on board). From Joliette it is a 20-min flat walk to the Vieux-Port; Le Petit Train Circuit 1 leaves the Quai du Port every 20 min for €11 adult / €6 child return and includes a 20-min stop on the basilica terrace. Notre-Dame entry is free; Le Panier and the harbour walk are public.

Cassis is 22 minutes by SNCF TER train from Marseille Saint-Charles (~€6 one-way, ~30 trains/day). The train station is 3.5 km from town: the Marcouline bus 371 covers it in 10–15 min for €0.80 per trip. From Cassis quay, GIE des Bateliers Cassidiens runs the licensed 3-Calanques boat tour (Port-Miou, Port-Pin, En-Vau) — 45 min, €20pp, walk-up most days but tighter on summer cruise-call days. Boat tours are capacity-capped by national-park licence so peak-day prebooking is wise.
