Church Crest Lookout over the Tobago Cays

Step past the church wall and the ridge opens out to the east. Below you the horseshoe reef of the Tobago Cays is laid out in bands of pale green and deep blue, with the five cays scattered inside it and yachts sitting on the sand patches. It is a five-minute stop rather than a destination, but it is the picture most people come away with, and it explains the geography of the whole day better than any map. There is no railing, shade or bench - just a grassy crest with goats on it. Come in the morning.
