Port summary
Mayreau has no cruise pier. Ships anchor off Saline Bay and run tenders or Zodiacs to the small concrete jetty. Everything on the island is reached on foot along a single one-lane concrete road that climbs steeply from the jetty to the village on Station Hill and drops down the far side to Salt Whistle Bay. Allow about 15 minutes uphill and 15 down; it is unshaded and steep enough to be hard work in midday heat. There is no ATM, no tourist office and no reliable public WiFi on the island, so bring small-denomination cash. Most calls here are small luxury or expedition ships that stay half a day.
