The Tobago Cays are five uninhabited islands inside a horseshoe of reef about twenty minutes east of Mayreau, and they are the best thing within reach of the anchorage. The water inside the reef is shallow, clear and full of green turtles grazing the sea grass off Baradal. Local boatmen meet the tenders at Saline Bay and run half-day trips; the marine park charges an entry fee per person on top of the boat fare, in cash. Check your all-aboard time against the promised return before you commit.
