Built of local stone and blessed in May 1930, the Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception sits at the highest point of the village on Station Hill. It is plain and cool inside, with simple stained glass, and is usually open when ships are in. The real draw is behind it: from the crest the ground falls away east and the whole Tobago Cays archipelago lies below, with Canouan to the north and Union Island to the south. Goats graze around the walls, and a donation in the box is the polite thing to leave.
