Dennis Forde has been feeding sailors and cruise passengers on Mayreau since 1989, and his guesthouse, bar and restaurant above Saline Bay is the island's best-known address. Lobster, snapper and conch are the staples, cooked to order, so lunch is a sit-down affair rather than a quick stop. The terrace looks down over the anchorage, which makes it easy to keep an eye on your ship while you eat. Dennis also runs fishing trips and day trips to the Tobago Cays, so it doubles as the island's booking desk.
