Robert's bar sits on the village road where it starts to drop back towards Saline Bay, and it has been a fixture of the Mayreau yacht and cruise circuit for years. The building is small, bright and covered in hand-painted lettering, with a terrace looking out over the water. Cold beer, rum punch and a short menu of local plates come out of a kitchen the size of a cupboard, and curried conch is the thing to order. Nothing is fast, which is part of the point. Cash only, in EC or US dollars.
