The Panagia Ekatontapyliani, the 'Church of a Hundred Doors', is one of the oldest and best-preserved Byzantine churches in Greece, with roots in the 4th century and a walled compound of chapels, a baptistery and a quiet courtyard. It is a few minutes' flat walk from where the tenders land. Entry is free (a donation is welcome); dress modestly as it is an active place of worship.
