Port summary
Galveston is unusual among US cruise homeports — the historic Strand district sits within a 10-15 minute walk of Cruise Terminals 25 and 28. Royal Caribbean's newer Cruise Terminal 10 is further east and needs a short shuttle or rideshare to town. Houston's Space Center and Kemah Boardwalk are 80 km north and only realistic for embark or disembark days.
