Ravenna is one of Italy's most rewarding mosaic ports but the cruise terminal is well outside the city. Ships dock at the modern Porto Corsini Cruise Terminal on the south bank of the Candiano Canal, 12 km from the historic centre. Most cruise lines run a paid shuttle (€10-15) to Piazza Kennedy in central Ravenna; Start Romagna bus 70/80 connects Porto Corsini to the city for €1.50 single. A small free passenger ferry-boat hops across the canal to Marina di Ravenna, the local beach town, where bars, restaurants and an Adriatic beach are five minutes away.
