Salerno's Zaha Hadid cruise terminal (Molo Manfredi) is a ~20 min / 1.5 km walk to Salerno Centrale station along the seafront. Direct Trenitalia regional trains run Salerno → Pompei (the town-centre FS station, NOT Pompei Scavi) roughly every 30–40 min, ~40 min, €4 each way; the Porta Marina/Piazza Anfiteatro entrances are a 10–12 min walk from the station. Pompeii-only entry is €20 (2026), bought online in advance — tickets are now nominative with a 20,000/day cap.

Skip the coach and go by sea: the Travelmar fast-ferry dock (Molo Concordia) is a ~10 min walk from the cruise terminal, with Salerno → Amalfi sailings ~40 min for ~€10. From Amalfi's seafront, the SITA Sud bus climbs to Ravello in ~25 min for ~€2 (buy tickets at the harbour tabacchi before boarding). Villa Rufolo entry is €8, walk-up. Ferries are seasonal (April–October).
