San Antonio's fishermen land their catch at the terminal on Paseo Bellamar, and the ground floor is a busy market of fish, shellfish and seaweed. Upstairs, a row of simple restaurants competes for customers with fried fish, empanadas de mariscos, machas a la parmesana and caldillo de congrio. Prices are low, portions large and menus mostly in Spanish. Cash is the safest way to pay.
