Argyle is Tobago's tallest waterfall, a three-tier cascade of about 54 metres tucked into the rainforest behind Roxborough on the windward coast. From the car park it is a walk of twenty to thirty minutes up a well-trodden path along the river, and guides wait at the entrance and will take you for a tip, which is worth it for the scramble to the upper tiers. Each level has a pool you can swim in, and the top one is the best. Entry is around US$10. It is a genuine half-day from the ship once you count the 50-minute drive each way.
