Kashi-no-Ichi is Shimizu's harbour fish market beside the station, where wholesalers and small restaurants serve the day's catch. Shimizu is one of Japan's top tuna ports, so the maguro bowls and sakura-shrimp dishes are superb and cheap; mostly cash.
