Perched atop Greenwich Park, the Royal Observatory is the home of Greenwich Mean Time and the Prime Meridian line, where you can stand with a foot in each hemisphere. There is the historic Flamsteed House, a planetarium and, from the hill, one of London's finest panoramas over the river to Canary Wharf. It is a stiff walk uphill from the Cutty Sark.
