Trogir Cruise Port
Trogir, Croatia · Mediterranean
Cruise ships anchor offshore in Trogir — tenders ferry passengers to the port.
Plan my port daysSmall-ship port: most ships anchor off Trogir and tender to the Riva waterfront at the edge of the walled old town; small yachts sometimes berth alongside. Everything in Trogir is walkable; Split, the Kaštela castles and Čiovo beaches need a bus, boat or taxi.

Port summary
Trogir sits on a small island in the channel between the mainland and the larger island of Čiovo, joined to both by short bridges. Only small and mid-sized ships call: most anchor in the Trogir channel or off Čiovo and run tenders to the Riva (Obala bana Berislavića), the palm-lined promenade along the south side of the old town. Small expedition and yacht-style ships sometimes tie up directly on the Riva or the Čiovo quay opposite. Either way you step ashore right below the walls, with the old town one minute away. The whole historic core is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and takes no more than 15 minutes to cross. Start at the Cathedral of St Lawrence on the main square, famous for Master Radovan's 13th-century portal; the bell tower (about 100 narrow steps) gives the best view over the red roofs. Around the same square stand the Town Loggia, the clock tower and the Cipiko palaces. Then wander the marble lanes to the North Gate, see the Kairos relief at the Convent of St Nicholas, and finish at the 15th-century Kamerlengo Fortress at the western tip, whose walls you can walk for views over the channel. Most sights charge only a few euros. For a swim, water taxis cross from the Riva to the beaches of Okrug Gornji on Čiovo in summer, or you can walk over the bridge to the small Čiovo coves. Nature lovers can walk or cycle 2.5 km east to Pantan, a small reserve with a Venetian mill and a spring-fed river mouth. Split is 25–30 km away: Promet bus 37 runs from Trogir bus station (just past the North Gate) via Split Airport in about 50 minutes, intercity buses are faster, and in summer the Bura Line boat links Trogir and Split. A taxi takes about 30 minutes without traffic. The Kaštela castles lie on the way. Summer traffic on the coast road can be heavy, so allow a generous buffer and remember tender queues near all-aboard.
