Ulvik is a tender port; the tender quay is in central village in front of Brakanes Hotel. Vøringsfossen is roughly 65 km away and there is no scheduled public bus that does the full route from Ulvik on a cruise day, so DIY requires a pre-booked shared shuttle or taxi (Hardangerfjord Taxi or Book Hardanger arrange these for cruise days, ~NOK 800–1000 pp / €70–90 round-trip including waiting time). Once at Vøringsfossen, the viewpoints are free; the Norwegian Nature Centre costs NOK 195 / €18 entry.

All three siderruta farms are 4–7 km from the Brakanes tender quay, on the same loop road around the Ulvik valley. The B-Active centre at Brakanes Hotel rents bicycles for around NOK 250 / €22 half-day, which makes the loop easy and scenic; alternatively each farm offers individual cider-tasting bookings (~NOK 250–350 / €22–32 pp) and the walking distance Brakanes → Ulvik Frukt & Cideri at Hakastad is 35 min on a flat orchard road. Book directly with Hakastadsider or Syse Gard at least a few days ahead — the farms cap tour group size and prioritise pre-bookings on cruise days.
