From the Tongue Bay tender landing, walk south along Whitehaven Beach ~20 min to the rocky edges at the southern end where coral grows in the shallows. Snorkeling is free if you bring your own mask and snorkel — many cruisers pack a set. October to May is stinger season: wear a full-body stinger suit or lycra rash guard.
