Two red-brick warehouses built in 1911 as customs storage now form one of Yokohama's most popular complexes. Building 1 hosts art exhibitions and a hall for concerts and events. Building 2 holds three floors of boutiques, craft shops and restaurants, from artisan beer bars to upscale dining. The waterfront terrace between the buildings offers harbour views and seasonal markets: an Oktoberfest in autumn and an ice rink in winter. Free to enter and browse. Allow 30-60 minutes for shopping and a drink.
