Parikia's old town is a classic Cycladic maze of whitewashed houses, blue doors, flower-draped courtyards and marble-paved lanes climbing from the waterfront toward the castle. There is no single route: follow Market Street (Agora) past the shops and churches and let yourself get lost. It is all a flat-to-gentle walk straight off the tender, and free.
