Coyhaique's Plaza de Armas is unusual: a pentagon, with streets running out from its five corners. It's the social heart of the regional capital, with benches, gardens and the cathedral facing it. The pedestrian Paseo Horn, with the craft market, cafés and restaurants, starts just off the square.
