Late afternoon for the cannon-line view of the harbour.
Boulevard Pasteur is the spine of Tangier's early-20th-century Ville Nouvelle, lined with French and Spanish facades, the old Cinéma Goya and Librairie des Colonnes (where Bowles, Tahar Ben Jelloun and Mohamed Choukri all browsed). It ends at the Terrasse des Paresseux — the 'Lazy People's Terrace' — a tiled balcony lined with WWII-era cannons, looking over the harbour and across to Spain.
Getting there from the port
Walk south from Grand Socco; the Terrasse is at #58 of Boulevard Pasteur.
