A clear self-guided loop through the medina: Petit Socco → up Rue de la Marine → past the Grand Mosque → up to the Kasbah and Dar el Makhzen → west along the ramparts to the upper terrace → down Rue Siaghine via the spice and jewellery souks → out at the Grand Socco. About 1.5 km, 90 minutes with stops, all on stepped lanes — wear flat shoes.
