Rosfjordsanden is one of the finest sandy beaches on the southern coast, curving round the head of the Rosfjord right next to where the tenders land. The water is shallow and calm, warming to around 18–20 °C on good summer days. There is a playground, toilets and a beach area adapted for wheelchair users, and the hotel terrace is next door for drinks.
